A professional engineering fraternity which purpose is to develop and maintain a high standard of professional interest among its members and to unite them in a strong bond of fraternal fellowship.
Camp Texas is an introductory camp for incoming freshmen and transfer students at the University of Texas at Austin in order to help encourage companionship and community before their arrival into the Forty Acres. As a counselor, I have helped encourage these incoming freshmen to embrace the ideals and views that UT holds while creating friendships that will (hopefully) last throughout their time here at the Forty Acres. Not only that, I have provided advice and insight to the campus they will be arriving at, and offer my support and guidance throughout their first year.
Alpha Phi Omega has their Alpha Rho chapter founded at The University of Texas at Austin and requires a minimum of 30 hours of community service during pledgeship and 40 hours of community service to stay an active member with the service benefitting the fraternity, the campus, the city, and the nation.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is a professional organization for electrical engineers and helps organize events for students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department to network and socialize with many companies.
